Snow in the Kenai Fjords National Park Winter 2024

It happens every year, we just don’t know when it will happen. This year we have received snow to operate our winter program. The winter weather is a bit late, but we do have the snow to get out and go. Snow Cat and Snow Machine tours are up and running to Exit Glacier here in Seward, Alaska. Seward is now home to a few winter operations that we want to mention here with this blog. Adventure Sixty North, Kenai Backcountry Adventures, Turning Heads Kennel, and Seward Ocean Excursions are the winter adventure companies now operating here in the Kenai Fjords. Winter is a special time here in the Seward area. With the snow covered surrounding mountains, Kenai Fjords National Park and the ice free Resurrection Bay we are blessed with absolutely beautiful scenery that is hard to beat. Seward will be again welcoming many folks during the Polar Bear Jump here at Seward Harbor on Saturday January 13th, 2024. The town will be celebrating all weekend as the annual fundraiser for Cancer happens again in Seward.
