Please read the following cancellation policy carefully. Trip & Travel Insurance is recommended!

Through feedback from staff and clients alike, this policy has been developed to not only meet the needs of this company, but to make it as reasonable as possible for the clients as well.

When you book a tour, we are committed to this. We commit our kayaks, our guides, food costs and preparation, and office administration. Often we have to turn potential guests away because we are fully booked. Please honor your booking and this cancellation policy.

No-shows, cancellations 7 days or less, those leaving a trip early of their own accord, or those refusing to sign an unmodified liability waver will not receive a refund of either the deposit or the balance of payment. The remainder of the full balance will be charged to your card on file. All trips run rain or shine. When traveling to Alaska, you should prepare for rain as it is what keeps us lush and green.

We take a credit card deposit at the time of booking, and will use this card for any charges incurred by YOUR cancellation, as per the policy below.

MORE THAN 30 DAYS before your reservation, we will refund your card minus the following per person booking fees:
 - Resurrection Bay and Bear Lake day trips - $20 per person
 - Aialik and Bear Glacier day trips - $50 per person
 - Overnight and Multi-day trips - $200 per person

15 TO 30 DAYS before your reservation, we will refund your card minus 25% of your total invoice.

7 TO 14 DAYS before your reservation, 50% of your total invoice is due.

WITHIN 7 DAYS of your reservation: There will be no refunds. Full balance will be due and charged to your card on file.

If Adventure Sixty North LLC is forced to cancel a trip for any reason; the trip will be rescheduled or refunded. We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to the discretion of our personnel and their field experience. In such cases, our liability extends to the cost of the class or trip only, not travel and accommodations made by our customers.

Note: Once any trips starts/departs and or must terminate early or extend due to any reason, there will be no refunds. This also applies to our overnight and multi-day trips. For overnight/multi-day trips, we recommend adding a buffer day on either end of your trip. Although weather delays in drop-off and pick-up are rare, they can happen. Alaska is still wild and Mother Nature has her own plan. For all trips and travel to Alaska in general, we highly recommend trip or travel insurance.

**Cancellation of any trip using a water taxi or other operator will also be subject to THEIR specific cancellation policy, which may differ from ours.**

Full payment must be made before time of departure or delivery of services. Trips & rentals booked within 7 days of departure of trip, will require full payment and no refunds will be made for these reservations unless Adventure Sixty North cancels the trip. A credit card number is required for all sea kayaking adventures and equipment rentals. All kayak rentals will require a credit card to held on file to be used if rental kayak and rental gear is lost, stolen, or damaged. The card will be charged for kayak replacement costs, gear replacement cost, and lost rental revenue while replacements are being shipped and not available for rental by Adventure Sixty North.

Final balances are due before trip departure or services rendered. For full day, half day, and rentals; the remaining balance is due during check-in on the day of your trip. For overnight and multi-day trips; the remaining balance is due the day before your trip departs.

Sea kayaking in Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park often means kayaking in the rain. Get good gear! Our cancellation policy is still in effect during rainy days.

For trips and rentals between the months of September and April, a $10 deposit may be retained at the time of reservation. A credit card number must be obtained and will still be charged in the event that a customer cancels or is a no show within the stated days of the cancellation policy.
